As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord .” When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them. (2 Corinthians 10:17-18 NLT)

Remembering Whose I am -考え方を考えてみた-

I was hearing from king David and sons of Korah (such Biblical figures are my mentors) last night. It was indeed a sleepless night. I wouldn’t imagine I would later remember one of their teachings.

昨晩、私はメンター（先生）であるダビデ王やコラの子から様々ことを教えて貰っていた。まさか、その教えを思い出す時がすぐに来るとは思ってもみなかった。

謙遜について考えた件 -What it means to become humble-

私たちは、互いに労りあうべきなのだ。もし私が、実際まだであるのに、自分が偉い者の様に思ってふるまうのであれば、私は自分を欺くことになってしまう。自分を省みる時、かつて誇りとして自慢していたことが、いかにちっぽけてあったかが明らかになるからだ。

We are to consider one another. If I think I am somebody big when I am nobody, that means I am blind. When I meditate on myself, the smallness of my boasting is exposed.

Year of the Double Portion 大漁の年

今年は収穫豊富の年だ。大漁の年だ。

去年できなかったことを出来るようになる年だ。

なぜなら今年は2倍の年なのだから。

The harvest is plentiful.

What was impossible last year will be possible this year.

Here comes the year of the double portion.

New Year 2019

It always feels wonderful as a new year starts. The old is gone, and new things are about to begin.

新年というものは、本当に気持ちが新鮮です。過去は過ぎ去ったし、新しいことが今まさに始まろうとしているこの瞬間なんですよ。いやあ、気持ちが良い！

ハードル―What’s wrong ?―

ただでさえお店に来てくれているのだから、「マジでありがとね」！という感謝の思いに溢れ、働きたい。実はこれが本音なのである。

To be honest, I want to keep working full of gratitude in my heart. Since customers are coming in and use my restaurant, I suppose to feel good about it.
