New Year 2018

新年あけましておめでとうございます。
Happy New Year everybody!

2017年も、あっという間に終わってしまった、というのが正直な所です。細かく分析すると、長々しくなってしまうのでここでは割愛させて頂きます。
To be honest, the Year 2017 came to the end so quickly. It’ll be boring writing my analysis here, so let me cut that bit.

元日に本ブログをスタート→初投稿ということで、何を書けばいいか分かりません(笑)
今回は、ブログを始めた理由について書いてみようと思います。
Since this is my first article in my blog, I don’t know what to write. LOL.
Well, I’ll write about ‘what brought me to start blogging to start up with.

実は、先月の25日より千葉県鴨川市に来ており、年末年始は私の母方の叔母宅で過ごしています。
I had been in Kamogawa-shi, Chiba Prefecture since the 25th of last month. I’ll be spending the New Year holidays at my aunt’s place until the 3rd of January.

都会に疲れ、心の癒やしを求めていた私はここに来た訳ですが、マジで田舎っす(笑)(笑)
Getting tired of living in the city, I came here wanting to bring comfort to my mind. As I expected, RURAL PLACE IS GOOD FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH.

ここまで心から深呼吸できるのは、昨年8月に訪れた栃木県のアジア学院（ARI）以来です。
I haven’t been able to breathe by heart since last August when I visited Asia Rural Institute (ARI) located in Tochigi Prefecture.

改めて気付かされるのは、世の中には本当に多くのライフスタイルがあると言うことです。私が今滞在している場所の近くには、脱サラして田舎ライフを選んだ人もいれば、パーマカルチャー(permanent+agriculture)という持続可能な環境をコツコツと作っているとてもフレンドリーなオーストラリア人もいます。
What reminds me of living in Kamogawa is that there is a range of way-of-living in the universe. Around the place I stay, an office worker chose to live in a rural community. Or, there is also a friendly Australian guy who is creating Permaculture (permanent+agriculture), the sustainable environment step by step.

その様な人々に囲まれて生活すると、これまでの自分が、他人を喜ばせるべく、偽の「三浦ノア」を演じていたとも感じてしまいます。自分が生きてきた世界は、狭かったのかもしれない。ほんで、人生の中に新しい領域を開拓しようと一念発起し、ブログを始めることにしました。
By living with those kinds of people, I feel one thing- that what I’d been doing was something to ‘please’ others. It was a ‘fake’ shape of Noah Miura. Maybe the world I have lived into this day was narrow.  Thinking of creating a new area in my own life (decided on the 31st of 2017), I started blogging!
