時間とどう向き合うか〜How to deal with TIME in our lives〜

時間は、有限であるとよく言われる。

「時は金なり」。

アメリカの建国者の一人であるベンジャミン・フランクリンの言葉は、その価値を明確に言い表しているだろう。

ただ、時間は無限でもある。

なぜなら、私達はデザイン思考を学べば、時間などいくらでも創り出すことが出来るからだ。

It is often said that our time is limited.

Time is money.

This famous saying by Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the USA clearly defines the value of time.

ON THE OTHER HAND, time can also be unlimited.

Design-Thinking allows us to creat as much time as we want.

家族　〜What a family meant to be〜

Family allows self-actualization possible.

The meaning of success rests in life making family happy.

It’s that simple, in my opinion.

家族は自己実現の鍵となるコミュニティである。

成功とは、家族を幸せにする所にある。

頭を固くせず考えたらこうなった。

「生きる」と云うこと。〜What is ‘To Live’ ?〜

「生きてれば、それで良いし」。
都内の大学生の何気ない一言が、私の胸にぐさりと刺さった。その時、あたたかな血が流れるを感じた。ついに、私はマズローの欲求５段階説の「6段目」を見つけた。自己実現の上には何が存在するのか。それは、自分が「生きている」という崇高な事実への気付きである。

”It’s alright as long as you’re living”.
What an university student said stabbed my heart. After that, I felt my blood flowing in my mind. Finally, I discovered the sixth part in Maslaw’s hierarchy of needs. Above self-actualization, there’s one’s understanding of the noble fact that we are ‘living’.

国際関係と恋愛の関係性〜The Connection between International Relations and Romantic Relationships〜　

国際関係が戦争の原因についての学問であるのならば、恋愛関係とは人間の争いの原因を追究する「学問」であるべきだ―――

実は、国際関係と恋愛関係は深い繋がりがあります。

何故なら、共通項として、①献身②コミュニケーション③信頼　の3つを含むからです。

If International Relations is the study of the causes of war, Love Relationships should be ‘the study’ to pursue the reasons of human conflict―――

In fact, there is a strong connection between International Relations and Love Relationships; as a common factor, they contain: 1. dedication 2. Communication 3. Trust.

知性〜Intelligence〜

自由の本質-The Nature of Freedom-

自由とは、何っすかね。

What is Freedom ?

恵まれた生活をしていると、あまり気付きにくいことだと思いますが。それがあまりに容易に得られてしまうから。

I think it’s kinda hard to realize when we have a wealthy life. It allows freedom to reach you easily.

今日のテーマは「自由≠自由」です。

Today’s topic is ‘Freedom does not exist in Free circumstances / environment’.

I read some articles which were really interesting.

地球人-Inhabitant of the Earth-

唐突ですが、人間って、自分をどちらかに合わせようとすると苦しむそうです。例えば、私の様にハーフの場合。自分は一体何人に「属する」のか、という答えを求めて葛藤します。

It is said that humans suffer when they try to ADAPT (to either A or B ). For instance, let’s consider a mixed guy like I am. We might have a hard time finding the answer of ‘where we belong to’.

ジェフリー・オリエマ Geoffrey Oryema

ブルキナファソに住んでいる知人に、私が血を引いているウガンダ共和国について話したら、「Geofferey Oryemaの国ね」という答えが返ってきて、正直戸惑いました（この人が誰だか、聞いたこともなかったので）。

When I was talking about Uganda (My second nation) to a friend of mine in Burkina Faso, he replied “Oh, that’s Geoffrey Oryema’s country, right” ? I was confused to that answer, actually. Who is Mr. Oryema ? I dind’t know.
