It smells like spring〜春のおとずれ〜

Nature, which is the vivid presentation of God’s power, amazes me. However severe winter is, spring comes anyway.

This is applicable to our lives. The hardship you go through does not mean that your life is over; stay at it! Testimony is coming.

神の力が鮮明に表れているとも言える自然に、私は常に度肝を抜かれてしまう。どんなに厳しい冬であったとしても、春は来る。この事実は、私達の人生に関連付けることが出来る。辛く、大変な時があるということは、必ずしもあなたの人生の希望が失われたことを意味するのでは無い。忍耐の末に、あなたを待ち受けているのは素晴らしい報いなのだから。

“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

Genesis 8:22

地のある限り、種まきの時も、刈入れの時も、暑さ寒さも、夏冬も、昼も夜もやむことはないであろう」。

創世記8:22 より

It was a clear and bright day today. I was walking in the street near my house. There I saw many cherry blossoms. Some were carried by the wind in the air and they seemed like a tornado.

今日はとても良い天気だった。そんな日に、私は家の近くを散歩していた。目に写ってきたのは、鮮やかに咲いた桜の花だった。その花びらが風に吹かれ舞う光景は、まるでピンク色の竜巻の様に見えた。

“Finally, spring has come”. I was happy.

Well, it must be spring by now according to the calendar. In fact, it is getting warmer day by day! The thing is, however, I never see a sign that it is spring. That is why cherry blossom caught my attention and convinced me to believe it is spring now.

「ようやく春が来た」。私の心は踊った。

カレンダーを見れば、もうとっくに春になっているはずなのだが。日に日に暖かくなってきてもいるし。ところが私は春が来たという兆候に対して鈍感であった。故に、今日見た桜は私の目を引き、春が来たことを知らせてくれたのである。

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:1

天が下のすべての事には季節があり、 すべてのわざには時がある。

伝道の書3:1 より

As it is written, I believe that there is a season for everything and a time for every activity under the sun. No wonder it gives me the joy to see cherry blossoms today!

上記引用句の通り、全てのことには季節があって、全てのわざには時がある。桜の花を見て嬉しいのは、無理も無いだろう。

I was rather excited when I was walking outside. It is not only because I saw cherry blossoms. The Word of God came to my remembrance, saying:

外を歩いている時、私はとてもワクワクしていた。それは、桜を見ることが出来たからだけでは無い。その時、主の言葉を思い出したのだ:

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Ishaiah 43:18-19

あなたがたは、さきの事を思い出してはならない、 また、いにしえのことを考えてはならない。 見よ、わたしは新しい事をなす。 やがてそれは起る、 あなたがたはそれを知らないのか。 わたしは荒野に道を設け、 さばくに川を流れさせる。

イザヤ43:18-19 より

The whole world including my family is at terror now. Yet my God, the God of Israel, Who is the Father of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is doing absolutely new things to His children. Thus I don’t remember and forget what took place in the past. The good news is that Jesus is making a way in the wilderness. To Him Who is to come, be the glory forever and ever, amen.

現在、私の家族を含めて、全世界が恐怖の真っ只中にある。しかしながら私の神、イスラエルの神にして私の主であり救い主であるイエス・キリストの父なる神は素晴らしいことをなさっている。よって、私は昔のことを思い返さず、忘れる。良き知らせというのは、イエスが何もない所に道を拓いているということだ。来るべき方に、永遠に栄光があるように。アーメン。

In time as such, I’m learning to trust God, denying my own understanding- many times it fails or becomes deceptive. 

この様な時に、私は自分を否定し、神を信頼するということを学んでいる。人の考え方（経験則）というものは、実に不確実なものである。

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverb 3:5-6

心をつくして主に信頼せよ、 自分の知識にたよってはならない。 すべての道で主を認めよ、 そうすれば、主はあなたの道をまっすぐにされる。

箴言3:5-6 より

This Lord God parted the sea for the Israelites to cross. He loves us to the extent that He gave His only One Son, Jesus so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have life everlasting ( refer to John 3:16).

この主なる神は、モーセに率いられたイスラエルの民が渡るために海を分けた。この主なる神は、私達をそのたった１人の子（御子）を犠牲にする程に愛しておられ、御子（イエス）を信じる人はひとりも滅びることなく、永遠の命を得る様にして下さった（ヨハネ3:16を参照）。

Let us turn back to our God, our Father in heaven.

私達の天なる父である神に、帰ろう。

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord , “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.

Joel 2:12-13

主は言われる、 「今からでも、あなたがたは心をつくし、 断食と嘆きと、悲しみとをもってわたしに帰れ。 あなたがたは衣服ではなく、心を裂け」。 あなたがたの神、主に帰れ。 主は恵みあり、あわれみあり、 怒ることがおそく、いつくしみが豊かで、 災を思いかえされるからである。
