とある日曜日の夜、通っている教会の「イツメン」で某レストランに食べに行った。
自分の好きな人達と食べる食事はとても美味しかった。
I had a chance to go out for dinner with my church family.
It is not that the food was just delicious, but eating with people I love was amazing.
年末ということで、どこかに大勢で食事に行く、というのはテンションが上がる。別に特別なことをする訳でも無いのに。
Going somewhere to eat with a group of friends is fun. We don’t do anything special, though.
ハンバーグやサラダバーを楽しみながら、私の心はとても暖かくなっていた。
なぜだろう。
そう考えたとき、そこには信頼があるのだろうなと私は思った。
誰だって、自分のことを認めて貰いたいだろうし、又、そうしてくれる人には自然と心が開ける様になる。
As we enjoyed our dinner at a restaurant, I felt my heart become warmer and warmer.
“Why is it so”?
When I thought about it, one word came to my mind: Trust. It is easy for us to open our hearts to those who accept us.
‘人々にしてほしいと、あなたがたの望むことを、人々にもそのとおりにせよ。‘
（ルカによる福音書6:31）
‘And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.‘
(Luke 6:31)
気付けば、教会で一緒に賛美したり祈ったりしている人々は、私の家族になっていた。
Brothers and sisters- those who worship and pray together at church are my family now.
世の中には、本当に様々な人がいるし、友達が沢山いるのは確かに楽しいかも知れない。
ただ、付き合う人は選んだ方が良いのかも知れない。
There are many kinds of people in this world and having many friends could be a lot of fun.
Still, it is important to choose the best ones.
であるからこそ、家族って大事だなと。
そんなことを感じた2019年の年末でした。
I learned that family is an amazing blessing in my life.
